    Okwera Academy is a Canadian non-profit dedicated to dismantling systemic barriers and empowering Black communities by serving as a dedicated talent and career incubator. We provide essential resources, mentorship, skill development, and financial support to address educational and employment disparities faced by Black Canadians.

    Since our launch as a grassroot organization in late 2022, we supported over 1000 Black youths across Canada through programming, events and mentorship. Participants of our programs are earning a combined $1million annually, contributing to the economic development of the Black community in Canada.
